Anxiety is important enough to talk about twice.

Lots of people become really anxious whenever something in their life changes. Usually anxiety strikes when something unexpected, Like death, loss of a job, or a confrontation happens. Sometimes, that anxiety can cause so much strife, that we lose control, and wind up having a full blown panic attack.

Panic is not a good thing. It’s when we begin to panic, that we lose complete focus on what is really happening around us.

I chose to address anxiety in this blog again, for two reasons. One, because it’s something that is ravaging our culture. Two, most people never talk about their anxiety.

Anxiety begins:

The moment I believe inferior information over the influence of the word of God in my life.

As people of faith, (myself included) we often let our anxiety completely run us off the rails, until panic sets in. We loose sight of the promises that God has made us, and we focus on the “Here and now” fear that we are dealing with at the moment. Once our hearts have reached that level, there is usually no turning back. The enemy has us right where he wants us.

Anxiety derails faith.

In my life, the devil loves to use Anxiety and panic as a way to separate my mind and soul from the redeeming grace of Jesus. When I get uncomfortable, It’s easy to forget that No matter the situation, God has already won the battle that is raging, and all I have to do is trust him. In the long run, whatever the outcome, he has it figured out.

Hebrews 10:23-25

23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

The author of Hebrews reminds us, to hold tight without wavering to the hope that we affirm, that GOD WILL KEEP HIS PROMISES!!

HE won’t leave you hanging.

HE will never forsake you.

HE wants what’s best for you.

He won’t let you be tested to much.

Take a deep breath. remember his promises. Get yourself surrounded by some stalwart people of faith.

Then Pray, Believing that he will deliver you from the situation.

Our God is big, and strong.

And he delivers.

Just ask my sister.

Or my wife,

Or my dad,

Or my Pastor,

Or, well… me.

Pray, Believe, Receive.

What do you think?

Till next week,
